Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an effective product marketing strategy for Bigpoint games in France. Conduct research and analysis and work in cooperation with the Group level marketing teams, including Product Marketing, Social Media, CRM, PR and Performance Marketing to localize marketing activities to suit the local markets.
  • Help to define messaging and positioning for new games launching in France and develop the appropriate “tone of voice” for Bigpoint in these markets.
  • Copywriting, proofing and inputting on all written marketing communications including CRM newsletters, promotions, direct mail campaigns, marketing materials etc, liaising with central teams to implement these campaigns.
  • Manage the content of the Bigpoint.com French web portal, including writing marketing copy.
  • In conjunction with the central PR team, manage and maximize relationships with external PR agencies and local games and entertainment industry publications and journalists.
  • Lead the company’s participation at consumer and B2B games events.
  • Input on performance marketing campaigns in France, including SEM, SEO and media campaigns.
  • Offer input and insights to the central marketing and product teams on the French market, to inspire new games and features for local users.
  • Work with the business development teams to develop B2B marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Work closely with the localization and technical teams to ensure products look and feel local.
  • Liaise with the Community teams and the Community itself to gain customer feedback and insights, to ensure the continuous improvement and development of the games.
  • Demonstrate success by monitoring statistics (RoIs, click through rates, etc) and performing strategic evaluation of marketing initiatives. Also keep management informed by preparing reports, presentations etc and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Your qualifications:
  • Proven track record in product and digital marketing, including operational marketing experience across social media, online newsletters and direct mail and PR.
  • In-depth knowledge of the French market and consumer.
  • Online industry experience and passion for the games industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in, and up-to-date knowledge of, social media and social media trends. Ideally a blogger, tweeter and avid consumer of social media.
  • Experience of performance marketing (SEO, SEM, Affiliate marketing, etc).
  • Strong network of contacts in French media.
  • Ideally both B2C and B2B marketing experience.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills including the ability to write compelling marketing copy.
  • French as your mother tongue. Fluent in English. German language skills an advantage.
  • Strong communicator and influencer, with experience in building relationships externally as well as internally, across multiple teams and locations.
  • Proven marketing planning and analytical skills and the ability to develop and execute strategy based on customer and market insights and analysis.
  • Strong creative skills including experience of briefing and working with creatives.
  • Attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Consumer-focused with a great understanding and awareness of French consumer trends, key brands, French media industry etc.
