3D Generalist

Job responsibilities:

  • Communicate with the Art Director, Project Producer, Lead Programmer and Lead Designer to define and collaborate on the aesthetic vision for a given title
  • Design, model and texture visually stunning, high-quality 3D game worlds, characters or props
  • Collaborate with Art and Design Leads to create fun, functional and memorable game worlds and levels
  • Ensure gameplay functionality and artistic integrity
  • Create all aspects of 3D game environments/ characters including high-quality modeling, texturing, lighting, skinning and decorations
  • Multitask effectively, prioritize competing demands, and follow through on details
Your qualifications:
  • Minimum four years’ 3D art experience, including modeling, texturing and lighting experience for shipped PC or console products
  • Excellent modeling skills for character creation and creative 2D UI skills
  • Ability to motivate others to achieve successful results
  • Advanced expertise in Photoshop, Maya or other conventional modeling software such as Zbrush, Mudbox, etc.
  • Passion for hands-on modeling and small project management tasks
  • Positive approach to outsourcing
  • Strong passion for gaming is a plus
  • Understanding functionality and navigational front-end designs
  • Basic understanding of animation and can animate easily
