“Capture the beacon” – Action-packed pursuits in outer space
To celebrate DarkOrbit’s 3rd anniversary, the community can look forward to a unique event: Starting on December 11th for a full 24 hours, a thrilling hunt will take across the entire star map. With “Capture the Beacon,” each company must try to guard two beacons from the opposing companies on their own territory while trying to retrieve their own beacon from enemy territory. But there’s a catch, beacon capturers will have absolutely no attack protection, and in the event that his/her ship was cloaked, it will become visible again!
Multiple matches will be played throughout the day, and for every match held there will be a prize. The company that wins the most matches will receive the daily prize. In addition, there will be a bunch of other surprises waiting in space.
